A Celebration of Hope, Charity, and Renewal is a string orchestra concert in response to January's devastating LA firestorm. The goal is to bring people and communities together to provide emotional, material, and financial support for all who have been affected by this tragedy.
The concert will be held at 2:00 PM on June 29, 2025, in the main
sanctuary of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1757 N Lake Ave,
Pasadena, CA. Admission is free and open to the public and will be

A professional ensemble of the distinguished colleagues of Pasadena
violinist and composer Cary Belling join forces to present uplifting classical
and popular music, with Mr. Belling, Yvette Devereaux, and Maestro James Domine, musical director of the San Fernando Valley Symphony Orchestra, conducting. The concert will feature violinist Yvette Devereaux performing Florence Price’s “Adoration,” violinist Cary Belling performing the orchestral premiere of his composition "Warriors,” soul singer Mo Briggs performing “You raise Me Up” (Josh Groban), along with compositions of Mr. Domine, Elgar, S. Joplin, and Mozart.
Local fire relief charities, including the American Red Cross Greater
San Gabriel and Pomona Chapter, San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity, Pasadena Community Foundation, and Friends In Deed Pasadena will speak on current relief efforts as well as ongoing needs.
Firestorm recovery is ongoing, but there remains much to overcome. Please join us as we raise up our communities in music, word, and deed!
